1-3 April   Toledo, Spain

26-27 October   Virtual

In light of the continued uncertain surronding the COVID-19 situation and due to many remaining and changing travel and meeting restrictions in different countries, the safety and well-being of all the conference participants is our priority. Therefore, we have decided to move a virtual event format for this year.

The participation is open and free, but attendees must register here (authors do not need to register again)

The Virtual event will be supported through GoToMeeting platform, which is available for both desktop and mobile applications. The channel link is https://www.gotomeet.me/arco-uclm/arc2020

16th International Symposium on Applied Reconfigurable Computing

Reconfigurable computing technologies offer the promise of substantial performance gains over traditional architectures via customizing the topology of the underlying architecture to match the specific needs of a given application, even at run-time. Contemporary configurable architectures allow for the definition of architectures with functional and storage units that match in function, bit-width and control structures the specific needs of a given computation. The flexibility enabled by reconfiguration is also seen as a basic technique for overcoming transient failures in emerging device structures. The International Symposium on Applied Reconfigurable Computing (ARC) aims to bring together researchers and practitioners of reconfigurable computing with an emphasis on practical applications of this promising technology.

This year’s Symposium will have a series of international invited speakers who will express their views on the future of reconfigurable technology. The accepted papers will be included in the proceeding published by Springer Lecture Notes in Computer Science (LNCS), which will be indexed by ISI Proceedings and EI-Compendex.

Selected papers will be invited to be submitted for consideration in the Special Issue «Recent Advances in Embedded Computing, Intelligence and Applications» of Electronics Journal (ISSN 2079-9292) .

The symposium will be hosted by the Research Group on Computer Architecture and Networks (ARCO) from the University of Castilla-La Mancha (UCLM, Spain) in the Historic City of Toledo (UNESCO).
